About Us
Welcome to Under The C.

Under the C was established in 2008, and as with many others it began as a hobby. I had always wanted a salt water tank but it wasn’t until I started my own that I realized how much I loved it. It was through my research into the marine aquarium that I realized there are thousands of people just like me who love the beauty of the corals and fascinating colors of fish. It was also through this research that I realized there was a need for more places to help others find the materials needed to start their own tanks.

I find one of the best things about a reef tank is the corals, but I don’t like the idea of depleting our oceans. This is why at Under The C, we take pride in the fact that our corals are grown in captivity. The majority of our corals are grow out frags. Besides the obvious positives from this, we are also able to keep our cost down by not buying colonies on a continuous basis to simply frag the entire colony. These savings are then passed on to our consumers.

Our goal is to help others enjoy this amazing world, Under The C.

Fish & Coral Rescue

If you are unable to care for your pets any longer (fish or coral) and cannot find a home for them, please do not release them into our rivers or lakes. With our help, together we can locate a home that will care for your your pets. In some cases we may offer to take your corals to expand our variety of propagated corals here in Canada.

If you don't have the time or energy to sell your own equipment, contact us and we will sell it for you. Selling a complete setup and not considering parting out often limits your customer base. Although, there is more effort involved, you will often sell quicker and for more money. Let us help you, send us an email today.
